CNBC Lists Flutterwave & Helium Health on 100 most Promising Startups of 2019

Flutterwave and Helium Health have been listed as part of the 100 most promising startups of 2019 curated by CNBC. This comes in the third edition of CNBC’s recognition of the startups that have the potential to transform the tech industry and become global household names.

CNBC, an American based media company was established in 1989. It has an audience base of 93,623,000 and is also ranked as the 19th most valuable channel in the US. It capitalizes on its long-term reach and acceptance to list 100 global tech startups that have the potential to grow. 

The Africa-based Flutterwave and Helium Health startups were part of the 100 startups and part of the initial 600 startups that responded to CNBC’s call for application.   

The startups that made the 2019 Upstarts 100 list were nominated using the following criteria

-Scalability

-Sales growth 

-User/Customer Growth 

-Workforce diversity

-Access to capital and community 

-Intellectual property 

-Industry size and industry life cycle stage.

 

With the inclusion of Flutterwave and Helium Health in the 3rd edition of CNBC Upstart 100 list, both firms will get more investors and global expansion opportunities.
