Big News! Senegalese company NIMA Codes that digitally maps users’ locations through their phone number has upgraded its app and is set to go live in 15 African Countries. Nima Codes will capitalize on the multi-lingual inputs of users on its platform to achieve the expansion.
Have you heard? OPay initially increased the amount it charges on transfers to typical bank accounts from a meagre N10 to about 1-2% of each transfer performed from the wallet. The fintech company has reverted it to N45 for initial daily transfers and 1% for subsequent ones.
Surprise Surprise! The Nigerian Senate is set to impose a sum of N150,000 fine and 3 years imprisonment on offenders of social media regulations.
