8 Kenyan start-ups have been selected by renowned start-up competition; Seedstars to pitch at its event in Nairobi for a place in the global final and to stand a chance to win US$1 million in equity investment.
Seedstars has selected winners from Egypt, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Ghana, Rwanda, Libya, Uganda and Senegal, and has teamed-up with Nailab to hold its Kenyan leg on September 21.
The selected start-ups include; ed-tech platform; Angaza Elimu, agri-tech start-up; Bitshamba, insurtech solution; Bluewave, blockchain-based ID service; Gravity. earth, health chat app; Lily Health, sports facility booking app; PataGrao, back office automation platform; Paybobby, and sales force automation platform; Optimetriks.
The winner at the event will win an all-inclusive trip to Switzerland in April 2019 to compete at the Seedstars Summit for up to US$1 million in equity investment and other prizes.
