Absa, Pivotal Software to Hold SpringOne Tour in South Africa

Absa and Pivotal Software has partnered to hold the SpringOne tour in South Africa. This event is a first of its kind and it aims to bridge skill gaps and also improve networking opportunities in the developer’s community.

Taking place on 8-9 April in Johannesburg, and on 11-12 April in Cape Town, SpringOne Tour aims to connect leading software companies, developers, enterprises and cloud experts to attendees and give them the opportunity to learn, build, deploy and run transformational cloud-native software. The platform aims to give the public and businesses insight into the SpringOne cloud-native Java platform and content.

Founded in 1991, Absa is a South African financial services provider that offers individuals and businesses; banking experience, credit cards, corporate and investment banking, wealth and investment management as well as bancassurance. Absa Bank Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Absa Group Limited.

Founded in 2012, Pivotal Software is a software and service company based in San Francisco and Palo Alto, California, with several other offices. Divisions include Pivotal Labs (consulting services), Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and a group developing big data products.
