It was on the backdrop to enhance professional visibility for freelancers and small business leaders on its platform that Open Business was launched. It also demonstrates LinkedIn’s commitment to small and medium-sized businesses across the world.

The co-Founder of LinkedIn, Allen Blue stated that the new feature was birthed from the need to globally scale small and medium-sized businesses. Open Business also underpins LinkedIn vision to create economic opportunities for every member of the global workforce.
