AFRICAR GROUP TRANSLATES ITS WEBSITE INTO 10 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES - Techgistafrica

The AfriCar has designed a platform that has reached out and is now operating in 22 different countries around the world. The company is Africa’s first online vehicle marketplace. Their headquarters is in Sydney, Australia.

They have personalized their website by translating their website into the local languages to suit the residents of each country they function in. Their original languages were English and Swahili.

Now, the company has added languages such as Amharic, Somali, Hausa, Yoruba, Kinyarwanda, Swahili, and Malagasy. They also soon plan to add Wolof, Zulu, Sotho, and Swazi to the mix, as well.

This additional, free service will allow for more customers to access and use their platform. They are the first among their competitors to offer this service of adapting to different countries’ local language, while reaching out to over 400 million potential users.

The AfriCar Group’s websites include cargebeya.com in Ethiopia, carisoko.com in Rwanda, mobili.com in Bali, fiarakodia.com in Madagascar, caryanga.com in Malawi, gaaraas.com in Senegal, carsotho.com in Lesotho, among many more.

Axel Peyriere, co-founder and CEO of the AfriCar Group, said “translating our different platforms means a lot for us as we focus on local people. We want them to easily access our classifieds websites so they can benefit from our free service.”

This translation will prove to consumers worldwide that the group truly puts their customer service very high as no other similar companies have made any attempts like this before.

The company is back by international investors having passed through two different rounds of funding. The team has over 100 people with operators and agents positioned in many countries throughout the world.
