TRADPEEK TO SURPASS ALIBABA?

Nigerian startup TradPeek aims to be Africa’s Alibaba - Techgistafrica

TradPeek has set high ambitions with hoping surpass the leading e-commerce company in the Asian market. TradPeek was co-founded by Kehinde Oseni last year in September.

Despite having started just last year, over 40 vendors are already using TradPeek. The growth of this platform is proof that TradPeek’s ambition of becoming as strong as Alibaba in global presence is not so unrealistic.

Oseni has no ill will towards Alibaba. On the contrary, he explains that Alibaba gave him the inspiration to pursue his own platform development.

Oseni, being a business man, visited China and noticed just how much convenience and ease Alibaba has given to average manufacturers and retailers there.

Alibaba, Oseni continues, provides a global connection for smaller companies in the provinces of Foshan, Guangzhou, and Beijing.

TradPeek is based upon the products and services provided by Africans as Oseni believes the manufacturers and entrepreneurs have not been given the global recognition that they deserve.

He explaiuns further that what Africa has produced within the nation would be greatly appreciated by the outside world, as well.

TradPeek is steadily growing with the development of partnerships of EMS, having already established partnerships in two countries so far with more to come.

The startup was surprisingly self-funded, but is currently seeking an investor to help further its growth at a more proficient rate.
