The Formula 1 World Championship is a motor racing championship for open-wheel racing cars recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). Drivers and teams are scheduled to compete for the titles of World Driver’s Champion and World Constructors’ Champion.

Different teams over the past weeks have been unveiling their state of the art vehicles and it is certain they mean business. Are you ready?

Ready, Set, Go!

Rich Energy Haas Formular 1

The Haas Formula 1 team was the first to unveil pictures of its 2019 car. The team revealed its livery at a launch event in London on Thursday. The 2019 version will be released on the morning of the pre-season test in Barcelona on the 18th February.

The Haas appeared in a new black-and-gold color-scheme after the signing of a new title sponsor, Rich Energy.

This version has a simplified front wing, with a larger span. The new front wing, 200mm wider, has been simplified in order to reduce turbulence so the cars can race closer together, thus increasing the chances of overtaking.

RokiT Williams Racing

The team signed a deal with emerging British telecommunications company ROKiT and revealed a new white and light blue color scheme. The 2019 Williams is not expected to be seen until the start of pre-season testing next season.

Announcing the deal, the team described ROKiT as a “new telco brand challenging the status quo, offering premium smartphone technology, performance and design at an affordable price and installing innovative wifi networks to make the world a better place”.

Toro Rosso Honda

 

Toro Rosso was established in 2006 as a squad of young drivers from Red Bull’s talent pool. Toro Rosso has released the first images of its 2019 Formula One car, the STR14, one week ahead of its testing debut in Barcelona next Monday, the 18th of February. The new changes to the car includes a wider front wing, smaller barge boards and a wider rear wing.

Renault F1 Team

Images of the RS19 were revealed online ahead of the February 18th to 20th test day. The French company secured their best finish last year, topping the midfield by coming fourth. It displayed the 2019 livery and front wing at its Enstone Base on Tuesday 12th, February.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport

The German manufactured Mercedes revealed its new car, ‘the W10’ ahead of the F1 2019 season. It aims to be the first team in F1 history to win six consecutive drivers and constructors championship double.

Before the W10 headed out on track at Silverstone, Mercedes released a series of blue, green and black patterned images of the car. Mercedes have appointed Esteban Ocon as their reserve driver for 2019.

Sportpesa Racing Point

Successor to the Force India entry, Racing Point, officially presents its new identity and 2019 livery at the Toronto event on February 13 at the Canadian International AutoShow. Racing Point retains the pink design used by Force India in the new livery. It is hoping to reclaim fourth place in the championship this year.

Red bull

Red Bull, a Formular 1 team based in the United Kingdom, has unveiled its first Honda-powered Formular 1 car at Silverstone. The RB 15 car which was launched with temporary red-and-black livery is expected to revert to their normal colors for the opening race in Melbourne on 17th March.

McLaren F1 Team

McLaren, the British team is the second most successful in F1’s history but has not won since the 2012 season finale. McLaren “2019 would be a very big year for us” said CEO , Zak Brown.

Successor to the Force India entry Racing Point, officially presents its new identity and 2019 It understands the errors that led to its MCL’s fundamental aerodynamic shortcoming in 2018 and is set to reveal its 2019 Formula 1 car live on Sky Sports F1 on Thursday, February 14th at 12pm.

Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow

Ferrari will reveal its Formula 1 car known as the ‘internally 670’ on Friday, February 15, 2019 at their Maranello headquarters.

The Italian team plans to run the car for the first time on-track two days later in Spain before the test begins on February 18, 2019. Ferrari is the first F1 team to indicate when its 2019 car will be unveiled.

Alfa Romeo Racing

Formerly known as Sauber, Italy’s Alfa Romeo will reveal its formula 1 car on February 18, 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. The team will reveal its Formular 1 car an hour before the track action begins at the Circuit de Catalunya.
