TechPreneur Of The Week: Cedric Atangana, CEO WeCashUp And Infinity Space

WeCashUp, Universal Payment Platform that allows digital companies around the world to accept any Cash and Mobile Money payments on their web and mobile apps via a single REST API integration.

Established in  2015 by 25-year old Cameroonian born tech entrepreneur, Cedric Atangana. Cedric is a graduate of Industrial Engineering from the Polytech Marseille in France. He co-founded Infinity Space, a FinTech start up company in Douala, Cameroun, which later extended to Kenya and is currently based in Marseilles, France. Infinity Space has won the Google I/O World Pitch Night in the Silicon Valley in the USA.

WeCashUp was created for digital firms to use their Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and offer their clientele a variety of digital modes of payment that exist on the African continent; cash, mobile money, and many more.

It focuses on helping online companies to get paid online in the emerging markets like Africa where people generally don’t use traditional credit cards. The API works for both pull and push payments.

Cedric became the first president of Google Technology User Group, GTUG in Cameroon. After GTUG became Google Developers Groups, GDG, Cedric emerged the first National Officer for the Google developer communities in Cameroon, with officers in each major city across all 10 regions of Cameroon.
