AFFDisrupt Conference 2019 Themed: Digital Goldrush: Building a Sustainable Tech Economy, to Hold in Lagos

Fintechs over recent years have attracted more venture capital funding in Africa. They have disrupted the Nigerian tech ecosystem through innovative products that has reshaped the banking sector. The African Fintech Foundry is set to host its second edition of the AFFDisrupt conference 2019 with focus on fintechs who are looking to engage stakeholders on matters that will define the future.

Themed: Digital Goldrush: Building a Sustainable Tech Economy, the event is an initiative of Access Bank that is dedicated to fintech startups. Access Bank aims to use the event to unveil its upgraded chatbot, ‘Tamada’ — formerly Ada of Diamond bank. AFFDisrupt will bring techprenuers with a common goal to make a difference in innovation together.

The event is set for the 16th of May 2019, at the Landmark Event Center in Lagos Nigeria. The event targets over 5000 delegates in the tech ecosystem like; Tech Startups, Entrepreneurs in residence, Tech Enthusiast, Global Tech Companies, Tech moguls, Industry Leaders, Large Corporates, Government and Venture Capitalist.

The website also mentioned that keynote speakers like; Omobola Johnson, a former Nigerian minister and Senior Partner at TLCom Capital; Uzoma Dozie, former CEO of Diamond Bank (now Access Bank) is also expected to speak.
