AFRICQN STARTUP VC4A LAUNCHES STARTUP ACADEMY - Techgistafrica

VC4A is an African ecosystem support organization. Just recently, the organization has launched its platform called Startup Academy.

The purpose of their platform Startup Academy is to give direct access for successful, aspiring entrepreneurs and investors across Africa to excellent expertise.

The Academy includes three different learning courses which include “Start Your Business,” “Grow your Business,” and Finance Your Business;” They follow this order respectively when taken.

During the first course of “Start Your Business,” participants are introduced to the main problems that are typically faced during the beginning stages of starting up as business.

During the second course known as “Grow Your Business,” participants cover what steps are needed to take after they have developed a firm foundation to their startup and are ready to grow.

During the third and final stage that the Academy offers, “Finance Your Business,” Different funding tips and concepts will be explained and discussed with participants to help them understand what ways are best for them to raise capital in their business.

There are several experts that are featured within the content that is taught through their platform. Some of these experts include Tomi Davies of the Lagos Angel Network (LAN), Rebecca Enonchong of the African Business Angel Network (ABAN), Brett Commaille of AngelHub Ventures, Fatoumata Ba of Jumia, Emeka Afigbo of Facebook and Wim van der Beek of Goodwell Investments.

All member who are registered on VC4A can access all the content via their platform for free. After passing through each lesson taught by the Academy, participants are able to pause and take a quiz to test what they have learned thus far.
