Bolt Deepens Services, unveils Bolt Food

Bolt launch Bolt food

Estonian ride-hailing company Bolt has deepened its services by launching an on-demand food delivery Service ‘Bolt Food’. This development came following its expansion goals to be a global on-demand transportation firm.

Bolt will leverage this move to compete with other online food delivery services. Bolt will use its recently secured $67 million in funding to expand the new service across Europe and Africa. However, the service will first begin in Tallinn, Estonia and afterward spread to other countries.

Bolt Foods will be competing majorly with Delivery Hero, the owners of hipMenu, an online food delivery platform with branches in Romania and other cities. Delivery Hero also controls major shares of iFood’s an on-demand food delivery service in Argentina and Glovo, the leading European on-demand food delivery platform.
