Founded in 2019, Catch began its product launch in Addis Ababa in 2020 and has more than 12,000 drivers and 50,000 riders on board.
By prioritizing safety, comfort, and performance, as well as a strong emphasis on drivers, Catch aims to gain a more competitive advantage over competitors such as Uber.
Catch was launched in Nairobi in November 2020 with aim to expand and introduce two new products in another five African countries in 2021.
The start-up aims to raise a seed funding round to finance these expansions.
