Dubai in Collaboration with Israel on Fintech Agreement

Israeli Fin-Tech, Aviv, signs deal with Dubai International Financial Center FinTech Hive to strengthen and uphold DIFC’s position as MEASA’s number one FinTech hub and remain one of the world’s top 10 FinTech hubs.

The announcement was made on November 28th, 2020 with representatives of both parties and comes shortly after the signing of the Abraham Accords Peace Agreement: Treaty of Peace, Diplomatic Relations, and Full Normalization between the UAE and the State of Israel on September 15, 2020.

It was agreed that both parties will partner together on talent development, knowledge sharing, events, and facilitating mutual introductions and referrals for firms keen to expand in each respective jurisdiction.

Nir Netzer, the Chairman of FinTech-Aviv commented saying that “In this unprecedented time of reaching out to promote peace in the middle east, we’re honored to initiate this unique collaboration in order to facilitate the export of Israeli technologies to new markets.”
