GrowthLab is collaborating with Seedstars to launch a new hub ‘Seedspace Growthlab’ in Lagos, Nigeria. The new hub will be situated at Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos State and it will officially commence service to the public on the 20th of September 2019.
GrowthLab is an Africa-based platform that aims to educate entrepreneurs on scaling their business growth. Seedstars Investment funds are for high impact technology entrepreneurs in emerging markets. This new lab will be the second GrowthLab hub in Lagos.
The hub aims to create an inclusive and unified space where startups can collaborate learn and grow together. It also creates a means for entrepreneurs to access a global network of mentors and experts.

According to Alessia Balducci, the General Manager of Seedspace, said they have always had a primary interest in Nigeria. He said, “as Seedstars started looking at emerging markets, Nigeria has always been a country of primary interest. I joined the Lagos team in 2017 and since then I have been amazed at the great opportunities and interactions with the local startups and innovation ecosystem. It’s great to see the drive to grow and have an impact through innovation and entrepreneurship. I think this partnership embodies just that drive for us to come together and do something that matters.”
According to Dotun Olowoporoku, Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director at GrowthLab, the hub aims to propel growth in the workspace. The collaboration with GrowthLab will help fast track their goal to aid entrepreneurs to build high growth businesses.
