On-demand delivery service ‘Kwik Delivery’ has launched a B2B on-demand delivery service in Lagos Nigeria. the company targets to aid SMEs, restaurants, wholesalers, retailers and ecommerce sites etc. solve their delivery problems.

According to Romain Poirot-Lellig, the CEO Africa Delivery Technologies SAS that powers Kwik Delivery, “Our model is quite different from existing companies: we are an asset-light company and we enroll the Kwiksters – our delivery partners – much like Uber is enrolling drivers. We provide them with equipment, training, financial services, technology and incentives – as well as with a clear set of rules that we strictly enforce.”

Customers will be able to hail Kwik Delivery motorcycles for the delivery of j food, parcels, shopping, documents, groceries, electronics among others. Drivers will be allowed to carry up to 20 kg in their kwik boxes and the riders will not be allowed to carry passengers for efficiency.

Kwik Delivery is a point-to-point delivery service that is powered by technology. Users will be able to set up either a corporate or individual account then allow them track their parcels till it is delivered.

The company intends to partner fintech firms like Paga and Paystack to all customers seamlessly make their payments after requesting for a service. Kwik corporate clients will be able to either queue in many parcels and choose to send it right away or later for a one-off or recurrent deal.
