London-based Do It Now Now to Boost 19 African Startups via AfriTech XYZ program

Do It Now Now, a London-based company is set to boost 19 African early-stage startups via AfriTech XYZ accelerator program — a nine-month virtual accelerator program. Do It Now Now is a company that connects African founders to experts and investors.

The AfriTech XYZ program is in partnership with PYPR, Strand Sahara, and Google learning space ‘Academy London’. The program aims at high-growth startups from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Uganda.

Startups who would love to participate must have been in operation for 5 years and above. They must have a large number of university graduates as their team members and also reside in either Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, or Zambia.

The intending applicants must have received over £20,000 in investments, grants, and even prizes. The applying startups should have at least one woman in their leadership team, a working prototype, and an active customer base. 

All selected startups will gain access to the exclusive AfriTech XYZ, connection to hubs, incubators, and accelerators. They will also gain access to one-to-one mentoring from skilled professionals, expert video-based teaching in key startup areas like go-to-market strategies, talent acquisition, financial forecasting and investment, and also, support to develop a pitch deck.

Do It Now Now intends to leverage the program to aid the startups with skills they can use to help them gain funding from local and international early-stage venture capitalists.
