Founded in 2016, LORI a tech-driven logistics services company that seamlessly coordinates haulage across frontier markets, providing long-haul transport solutions to manage the three core areas of logistics: Process, People, and Technology, allowing clients to focus on their core business.

LORI systems have grown successfully to be Africa’s largest e-logistics technology solution.
The growth of LORI has been fundamental since their launch in May 2017, expanding their operations towards Uganda, Rwanda, and South Sudan in 2018, while recently starting operations in Nigeria.

The Imperial venture fund ran by Newton partners is a venture capital firm based in the U.S and recently finalized investments in LORI systems.

Although, Imperial operates in the African and European markets providing logistical solutions. This partnership is viewed to be one of a kind in Africa and has a focus on the SADC (Southern Africa Development Community).

During the launch, the Group CEO of Imperial; Mohammed Akoojee said: “Investing in LORI systems will enable the creation of further business opportunities in Africa and provide efficiency for imperials clients and transport operators with whom we collaborate.”

CEO and Co-founder of LORI systems, Joshua Sandler gave a brief about the partnership, saying it is a” validation of our vision of a new era of digitally enabled and efficient logistics not only in Africa but in frontier markets” He further added that Imperial is an industry veteran.
