GIG Logistics expands to Ghana

GIG Logistics, a subsidiary of God is Good motors has officially launched in Ghana. The firm which has been operational for about eight years in Nigeria offers delivery services for its B2B and B2C customers. It powers last-mile delivery across 84 locations in Nigeria.

It is not news that the African Logistics Market is filled with potentials and it is this potential that GIGL intends to tap into. The company intends to expand across Africa, with Ghana as its first cross-border expansion.

The company will maintain an end-to-end logistics strategy, from drop-off to delivery services in Ghana. GIGL, however, aims to focus on the Ghanaian eCommerce sector. They plan to leverage the booming eCommerce sector in Ghana to enter the market.

GIGL leverages technology to deliver end-to-end logistics services, which will in return, develop the overall logistics sector. The company will soon launch the GIG app to create a seamless means for customers to access their services. As regards to this, the company has opened up two separate facilities in Ghana. GIGL will also integrate a partner feature that will allow investors to invest in bikes and vehicles for last-mile delivery.
