SA STARTUP PIVOT PEOPLETECH LAUNCHES PLATFORM TO SIMPLIFY HR - Techgistafrica

Pivot People is a startup that was launched by Deborah Hartung. The startup supplies inexpensive HR and employee relations, products, and advice to the South African startups through digital downloads, webinars, and online video consultations.

The company’s platform offers free tips, advice, and document templates to everyone who subscribes to its monthly newsletter. The platform also offers digital downloads, contracts, and warning forms.

Micro-training programs on issues including who you need to include to form the best team and managing the overall performance of the team is also included in the features of the platform.

Hartung said, “There is nobody out there who is doing what I am doing. There are “HR consulting companies who basically let you outsource your payroll to them and they call that “HR” or they do projects. Then there are the Labor lawyers and consultants who scare the bejesus out of you with threats of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) and how much money you can lose. They’re hardline people and they generally get called when someone needs to get fired or the case is to be defended at the CCMA.”

In response to these statements, proposed a vital, important question.

She asked, “Who will help you recruit great people, help you coach and correct and grow them and then help you fire them if you have to?”

To solve this vital problem, the startup Pivot PeopleTech was launched, providing not only more affordability but also more accessibility.

Even though the startup was only launched this month, the startup has already brought in five retainer clients as well as selling some contracts after advertising on Facebook.
