The biggest seed stage startup competition for emerging markets, Seedstars World for the sixth time is coming to Ghana… With the support of the Business Incubator Center at the University of Professional Studies, Seedstars will be holding a dynamic pitch event on the 13th of July.

Nigeria Flutterwave Expands To Kenya….  The FinTech company has launched its payments solution called Barter in the East African country of Kenya. Barter is a platform for creating virtual ATM cards and users can use it to generate virtual cards to hold currencies like Dollar, Euro or Pound.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched a Pan-African Entrepreneurship Portal-Platform called YAS (Youth for Africa and SDGs). The platform facilitated by Accenture is designed for young African entrepreneurs with the intent of cultivating an ecosystem that will promote mentorship, funding, information-sharing, and networking.
