Uber South Africa has partnered with Old Mutual and KaeloXelus to support their drivers with health product offerings and money management courses. The services will be offered without charge to all uber drivers in South Africa.
The sessions will be offered to the drivers without charges and it will run weekly for a period of two years. While Old Mutual will equip drivers with money management skills that will help them grow healthy saving habits free of charge, the KaeloXelus will grant the drivers access to Myhealth, one of their packages for a charge of R73 every week VAT inclusive.

Alon Lits, General Manager for Uber Sub-Saharan Africa, says they are committed to supporting drivers who use the Uber app. According to him, they are ensuring that Uber is an attractive platform for drivers to build a small business, which led to their partnership with KaeloXelus and Old Mutual.
John Manyike, Head of Financial Education at Old Mutual, said they are privileged to partner with Uber and help its drivers make the most of their hard-earned money.
Through the Myhealth package, the drivers will have access to comprehensive primary care from healthcare professionals like doctors, dentists, optometrists, and pharmacists. Drivers can access both services from the Uber Marketplace platform.
