YouTube Releases Updates for Premium Subscribers

YouTube has released new updates for its YouTube music Premium subscribers. They also released new playlists for their South African Subscribers. Through this new update, subscribers will be able to switch between songs and the songs music video seamlessly. 

The Update will also permit smart downloads, a feature that will automatically save music at night, and when connected to Wifi. this in essence helps subscribers maximise the use of their data by saving their favourite music content for offline usage.

Prior to the update, Subscribers had to make use of the offline mixtape feature to download about 100 songs. Songs that were selected for them based on things they listen to the most on the platform. Through Smart Downloads, subscribers will be able to select the number of songs they’d love to be downloaded automatically. The feature is only available on android for now, with plans to move to iOS soon.
