NIGERIAN ONLINE SUPERMARKET ADDS FOUR NEW SERVICES TO ITS PLATFORM

ONLINE BUTCHERY JUST ONE OF FOUR NEW SERVICE OFFERINGS FROM GLOO.NG

The self-proclaimed biggest online supermarket in Africa has launched four new subsidiaries after being granted a loan from an angel investor. One of these services includes an online butchery service. Gloo.ng intends to offer its customers fresh, premium quality meat at an affordable price. The online butchery will be known as GlooButchery.

Customers will be able to visit Gloobutchery to order a variety of meats like goats, pork, chicken and others. Customers need only to place an order online and it will be delivered unto them. The other free services that Gloo.ng have include GlooTrack, a delivery tracking system that allows customers to see goods-in-transit, Farm-to-Table, a marketplace that connects fresh farm produce with customers and Enterprise Consumables Management Software which will be for large corporations.

Gloo is hopeful that their investment yields positive returns. The launches of these four interrelated products will lead to four continuous quarters of break even by their estimation. Gloo itself, the parent company, is only a five-year-old brand that delivers a variety of high quality supermarket goods through its platform. Gloo is differentiating itself by offering quick delivery, right to customer’s doorsteps.

Throughout the next month, Gloo will give customers a discount of 18% on every order. So, if you live in Nigeria, look them up. To check out Gloobutchery, click here.
