Three Ex Andelans have launched an automated concierge service dubbed Eden. It was launched to help professionals perform different household chores.
Founded by Nadayar Enegesi, Prosper Otemuyiwa, and Slim Momoh in 2019; Eden was created on the basis that people loathed house chores and the time wasted in performing these duties.
The founders have worked to build an active customer base of busy professionals in Lagos. Some of the professionals on board Eden include Piggyvest Co-founder, Odun Eweniyi, Mo Agusto CEO, Motunrayo Agusto.

Across the world, people were complaining about the time spent doing house chores. A study by the American Bureau of Labour Statistics states that an average person above 15 years spends at least 66 minutes daily engaging with household chores. Meanwhile, research by a UK-based cleaning service also revealed that people would rather spend time reading, going to the gym, relaxing or visiting friends than doing house chores. Thus, Eden seeks to help working-class people in busy cities like Lagos to maximize time.
Eden has a well-trained team of home managers called gardeners. They take care of all the domestic chores of a client through services like laundry, home cleaning, meal preparation, home fumigation, etc.
According to Nadayar Enegesi, Eden’s CEO, Eden seeks to create a new culture, systems, and processes to ensure that gardeners are rewarded appropriately. Professionals who receive their services also receive the highest quality of home service possible. He also reiterated the startup’s vision of building principle concierge services that are efficient, better-designed and scalable for the continent.
Professionals interested in Eden’s services can subscribe to 8 different plans.
