Eden Life, a Nigerian business that digitizes home services, has raised $1.4 million in a seed round.
The round was led by LocalGlobe, a venture capital firm based in the United Kingdom. Samurai Incubate, Future Africa, Village Global, Rising Tide Africa, and Enza Capital, all focused on Africa, took part.
Customers can use a mobile application to book three home services: food, laundry, and cleaning.
Eden Life was founded in 2019 by Nadayar Enegesi, Prosper Otemuyiwa, and Silm Momoh.
Eden Life, according to Enegesi, its CEO, was formed to help people improve their lives despite the harsh realities of Lagos.
LocalGlobe general partner Remus Brett commented on the investment, saying that the startup’s commitment to clients, attention to detail, and status as a leader in the tech hospitality field impressed the company.
“Eden Life’s vision for the future of home care in Africa captivated LocalGlobe. Eden Life is on an exciting road of growth, thanks to this edge and a core team with proven experience taking African tech to unprecedented levels,” Brett concluded.
Eden intends to invest the secured funds on in-house technologies, talent recruiting, and food manufacturing.
