For the third year, Grow with Google, Pluralsight, and Andela have teamed up to present the Google Africa Developer Scholarship to support software engineers in Africa in two different roles:
Android Associate Developer
Cloud Associate Engineer
This program seeks to engage with current and aspiring developers in order to help them develop the skills they’ll need to get work in the IT industry when the program ends.
Participants in the Google Africa Developer Scholarship (GADS) program receive free access to a variety of courses, projects, embedded laboratories (provided by Qwiklabs), and skill evaluations, as well as support from the Google Developer community.
The tools in this program will assist developers in developing the skills required for Google certification.
Previous participants have gone on to create meaningful initiatives for their communities, achieve significant professional advancements, and even become Google-certified developers and engineers.
To be eligible for the Google Africa Developer Scholarship, you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of an African country. You may only sign up for one learning track/role at a time.
Visit the Google Africa Developer Scholarship (GADS) Program 2022 website to apply or learn more.
