Health food brand The Whole Truth Foods, a clean-label health food brand, has raised nearly $11 million, in a Series B funding round from existing investors Sequoia Capital India and Matrix Partners India, according to regulatory filings shared by company intelligence platform Tofler.
Founded in 2019 by Shashank Mehta, an ex-Unilever marketeer, The Whole Truth is rebuilding the world’s trust in its food and positions itself as a healthy and clean snack brand.
The portfolio of the food brand includes protein bars, immunity balls, and muesli.
The company also sells clean-label bars and muesli without hidden sugars, artificial flavors, and harmful preservatives.
Rachna Aggarwal, a bakery chef, and chocolatier heads its product development.
The Whole Truth offers subscriptions and claims to have 80-85% of sales through its website, while the remaining sales come from partnerships with gyms and health clubs.
