Eleven startups have advanced to the MultiChoice Africa Accelerator’s next phase, where they will go to Dubai to present to potential investors.
The MultiChoice Group created the MultiChoice Africa Accelerator program, which is a component of the MultiChoice Innovation Fund.
It was developed in collaboration with the Dubai-based business incubator Companies Creating Change (C3), technical partner EOH, and Galelo Africa to serve as a platform for the growth of startup companies from all over Africa.
In the initial round of the program, public and private partners in each country nominated businesses or entrepreneurs to participate.
29 of the firms then started a rigorous virtual training program in December 2022.
Now that eleven startups have been selected to proceed, they will participate in a special bootcamp in Lusaka, Zambia, to learn more about how to craft their narrative for foreign investors and to get “pitch ready” in advance of their presentations in Dubai.

Dojah, a verification startup – Nigeria
Crop2Cash, agri-tech company – Nigeria
Botlhale AI, natural language processing tool provider – South Africa
