Rebecca Enonchong is a Cameroonian technology entrepreneur, business leader, and advocate for women in technology.

She is the founder and CEO of AppsTech, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions to businesses and governments in Africa and the Middle East.

Enonchong was born in Cameroon in 1967 and grew up in the capital city of Yaoundé.

She developed an early interest in technology and pursued a degree in computer science at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

After graduating, Enonchong began her career in the United States, working for several technology companies in the Washington, D.C. area.

However, she felt a strong pull to return to her home country of Cameroon and use her skills and expertise to help build the technology industry there.

In 1999, Enonchong founded AppsTech with the mission of providing world-class technology solutions to businesses and governments in Africa and the Middle East.

The company offers a range of enterprise software solutions, including customer relationship management, financial management, human resources, and supply chain management.

Under Enonchong’s leadership, AppsTech has grown into one of the leading technology companies in Africa, with offices in Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and the United Arab Emirates.

The company has worked with a wide range of clients, including government agencies, banks, telecommunications companies, and multinational corporations.

In addition to her work with AppsTech, Enonchong is a prominent advocate for women in technology.

She has been a vocal critic of the gender gap in technology and has worked to promote greater diversity and inclusion in the industry.

She is a founding member of the African Business Angel Network, which supports early-stage startups in Africa, and is also a member of the board of directors of several technology companies and organizations.

Enonchong has received numerous awards and recognitions for her work in technology and business.

In 2013, she was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, and in 2017 she was awarded the AAI African Business Leader Award.

She has also been recognized as one of the 50 most inspiring women in technology by the Inspiring Fifty organization.

In conclusion, Rebecca Enonchong is a pioneering entrepreneur and advocate for women in technology.

Through her work with AppsTech, she has helped to build a thriving technology industry in Africa and the Middle East and has been a vocal champion for greater diversity and inclusion in the tech world.

Her achievements serve as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and women in technology around the world.
