HealthTech Hub Africa (HTHA) is a hybrid pan-African e-health accelerator program that is now accepting applications.
The program provides entrepreneurs with a platform to build long-lasting enterprises and significant health impact.
With a physical co-working location in Kigali, Rwanda, HealthTech Hub Africa (HTHA) is a hybrid pan-African health tech accelerator.
HTHA was founded by the Novartis Foundation with funding from the Global Fund and the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation.
Its mission is to actively integrate innovations into public health systems by working with important government players.
The accelerator wants to provide business owners with a strong platform to build long-lasting companies and significant health impacts.
All selected startups will have access to grants and in-kind additional benefits worth over USD 1M through the hub’s digital platform.
In order to advance health equity across the continent, the funding will help the businesses test, improve, validate, integrate, accelerate, and/or scale their solutions inside the public health systems.
After the projects are finished, the solutions that were effectively incorporated into the corresponding national health systems will be highlighted and given the chance to apply for additional funding down the road.
Mentoring, coaching, expert masterclasses, pitch practice sessions, community support, networking and pitching opportunities, service and media access, and funding options are all included in the 10-month accelerator course.
The deadline for applications is December 11.
