Dubai has taken another bold step toward becoming the world’s most connected city with the launch of an AI-powered city portal and Fellou, a homegrown AI-powered web browser designed to deliver both smarter services and a privacy-first online experience.

The AI City Portal will serve as a one-stop digital gateway for residents, visitors, and businesses, offering personalized access to government services, city events, transport updates, and emergency alerts. Officials say the platform uses machine learning to anticipate user needs, streamline requests, and cut waiting times across public services.

Alongside the portal, Dubai has introduced Fellou, its first homegrown AI web browser, built with localized intelligence and advanced privacy protections. Fellou promises users faster, AI-assisted search results without tracking personal data, as well as integrated tools for translation, voice navigation, and real-time fact-checking.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, hailed the twin launches as milestones in the emirate’s digital transformation strategy:

“We are building a future where every resident and visitor experiences the city through AI—securely, intelligently, and effortlessly.”

Dubai’s tech community has welcomed the move, seeing it as a step toward digital sovereignty while reducing dependence on foreign technology providers.

With the AI City Portal and Fellou now live, Dubai aims to set a global benchmark for AI-driven urban living, where convenience, privacy, and innovation go hand in hand.
