Applications are now open for a new accelerator program aimed at digital B2B SaaS firms in East and West Africa.

Startup Wise Guys, one of the most active investment funds in the industry, founded the program.

Selected firms will be asked to take part in an intensive online accelerator program that offers up to €65,000 in funding and up to 12% ownership.

The program, which will be the first-ever pan-African SaaS accelerator, will begin in February 2022. The accelerator’s goal is to help digital B2B SaaS firms succeed.

Selected firms will be invited to take part in a five-month intensive accelerator that will include online modules as well as mentorship and expertise from local and international professionals.

The main program will begin in February 2021, and selected firms will get up to €65,000 in exchange for up to 12% equity.

The selection committee will search for promising FinTech, AgriTech, EdTech, CleanTech, HealthTech, and RetailTech startups.

English-speaking startups from all around Africa are invited to apply, with the committee focusing on Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda in the first round.

The deadline for applications is January 15, 2022.
