The Google for Startups Africa Accelerator is a three-month Accelerator program for Seed to Series A technology startups from across Africa.
The Accelerator program is designed to bring the best of Google’s services, products, people, and technology to startups who are using or planning to use machine learning and Artificial intelligence in their businesses.
The accelerator also provides deep dives and workshops focusing on product design, customer retention, and leadership development for entrepreneurs, advanced training, media opportunities, and access to Google’s network of developers and experts, in addition to mentorship and professional project support.
This is the Program’s sixth cohort, and the second time that Google will be facilitating the course virtually.
“Last year, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Google for Startups Accelerator Africa unveiled its first virtual class. It was Google’s first all-online accelerator program for Africa, with 20 startups from seven countries participating in a 12-week virtual journey to redefine their offering while receiving mentoring and attending workshops,” says Onajite Emerhor, head of Google for Startups Accelerator Africa.
The deadline to apply for the program is May 14th.
