To expand its reach in the Egyptian market, Saudi Arabia-based DIGGIPACKS, a provider of last-mile transportation and logistics services, has acquired FWRUN, an Egyptian eCommerce solutions provider.

FwRun was founded by co-founder and CEO Khaled El-Nimr and his partner, Ahmed Maghraby, in Cairo, Egypt, in the last quarter of 2019 as a fulfillment center providing storage and handling services. The company quickly attracted a number of merchants as well as numerous international brands due to the high demand for this service.

Founded by Hasan Jabarti in 2020, DIGGIPACKS is a service that connects together organizations that handle last-mile and fulfillment needs so that retailers can deliver their shipments with ease.

Khaled, the CEO of FwRun, said he is optimistic about the Egyptian and Saudi Arabian expansions of the partnership, saying that they will help small and medium businesses in Egypt and that the increased possibilities of cross-border trade between the two countries will lead to the implementation of innovative technology in the Egyptian market.
