Ola Williams replaces Akin Banuso, who is the Enterprise Commercial Lead for the Middle East and Africa – Multi market region.

Ola was previously the Specialist Sales Leader, working with the extended team and the company’s partner organizations to grow cloud revenue across enterprise customers.

Ola will lead Microsoft’s efforts to accelerate Nigeria’s digital transformation and cloud adoption across all customer segments in her new role.

She will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and mobilizing internal and external stakeholders.

Ola joins Microsoft’s Middle East and Africa – Multi market region Leadership team, reporting directly to Ibrahim Youssry, General Manager of Microsoft’s Middle East and Africa – Multi market region.

“I’m proud of Akin’s significant contributions to accelerating our customers’ transformation journey in Nigeria,” Ibrahim said. “I am overjoyed that Ola will bring her unique expertise to help propel the country to new heights, as well as contribute to the larger leadership team in designing how we address Africa’s business landscape.”

Ola began her career at Microsoft in 2010 as an Enterprise Voice Technology Specialist.

She has also worked as a Partner Technology Manager, Dynamics Partner Sales Executive, and Account Technology Strategist.

Ola has over 21 years of experience in information technology, including solution implementation, solution sales, and channel management.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool.
