Tomisin Fashina has been appointed as the new Group Executive for Operations & Technology at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, the parent company of the Ecobank Group, in addition to his current role as Managing Director of eProcess International.

Tomisin has the necessary expertise, and his new position gives him a broad view of our operations and technology functions.”

Tomisin has worked in technology management and financial services for more than 30 years. Tomisin was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Steward Bank Harare Zimbabwe before joining the Ecobank Group.

He has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Yookos, a social media firm, as well as General Manager & Head, Transactional Banking Products and Channels Management, and Director, Cash Management & Payments at Barclays Bank.

Prior to this, he served as Division Head & Director, Client Delivery, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Division Head, Electronic Banking & Implementation, Sub-Saharan Africa, in Citigroup South Africa’s Global Transaction Services.

Tomisin graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a BSc in Computer Engineering, a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Lagos, and a PhD in Business Management in Leadership from Capella University in Minnesota, USA.

Following Eddy Ogbogu’s recent retirement after 11 years with the Group, Dr. Fashina takes over as Group Executive, Operations & Technology.
