South Africa’s agritech and aerial imagery company, Aerobotics, has recently closed a Series B funding round amounting to $16.5m led by Naspers Foundry, alongside participation from FMO & Cathay AfricInvest Innovation.

International expansion and further technology development have been identified as the primary goals for the funding rounds while also enabling more efficient local business operations.

Aerobotics enables tech-efficient farming processes for farmers from around the world by providing data-driven insights, scout mapping, and other tools to mitigate damage to crops from pests and diseases while using Aeroview to provide actionable insights powered by AI-based analytics.
