Lenovo Group Limited has announced their plans to launch the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold PC in the South African market, early 2021 and can be pre-ordered from the Lenovo’s South African website.

With the launch price expected at R70, 000, depending on configuration and spec, the technology, weighing less than 1kg, features a foldable 13.3-inch OLED display, made out of lightweight alloys and carbon fiber with a leather folio cover.

ThinkPad X1 Fold PC is the outcome of over four years of extensive research alongside multiple performance and durability testing, ranging from ball dropping, to pen tapping and dynamic stress tests.

The unique design allows for two independent display options with the ability to adapt to multiple viewing activities without compromising on the screen size, durability, or performance.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold PC also comes along with an Active Pen and a Bluetooth Mini Fold Keyboard secured onto the PC with magnets and wireless charging capability from within the system.
