Zoom Inc. has announced their plan to temporarily lift the 40-minute meeting limit on calls made during the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday celebrations on 26th November 2020 for all meetings globally beginning from midnight ET November 26th till 6 a.m. ET on November 27.
The announcements follow the company’s intentions to give families an opportunity more time to spend together during gatherings within this period as celebrations will be a balanced combination of both physical and virtual hangouts.
With the 40-minute limit being a major restriction for basic plan users, the latest announcement ushers in some extra holiday cheer among users by providing an unlimited virtual chat platform to connect family and friends from around the world.
