The global Netflix Creative Equity Fund, which was introduced in 2021, includes this scholarship fund. Over the next five years, it will be utilized to fund a variety of projects with the goal of building a broad and powerful pipeline of creatives all over the world.

The Netflix CESF will be available in the region starting in the 2022 academic year.

An open call will be made in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, with help from a fund management advisory firm and a fund administrator/implementation partner in Southern Africa.

The Netflix CESF offers complete scholarships to students at partner higher education institutions (HEIs) in South Africa. This aims to assist aspiring creators from SADC countries who wish to study in South Africa with official training and qualifications.

During the 2022 academic calendar year, the scholarship fund will pay for tuition, housing, and study materials at institutions where the beneficiaries have been accepted to study TV & Film disciplines.
