Sendmarc, a Johannesburg-based tech startup, has received an undisclosed amount of funding from South African venture capital firm Kalon Venture Partners.
Sendmarc is a cyber-security email privacy and enforcement software company that was established in 2018.
The technology startup, founded by established entrepreneurs Sam Hutchinson, Keith Thompson, and Sacha Matulovich, aims to provide a safe and secure email environment for small to large businesses in South Africa.
The tech startup manages the configuration, implementation, and reporting for Domain Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC), a global email security standard.
Businesses may use Sendmarc’s service to protect their customers, suppliers, and themselves from cyber-attacks via email.
Since its inception this year, the tech startup claims to have grown by 30% monthly and processed an estimated 400 million emails per month on its innovative and safe platform.
