Kemitt, an Egyptian e-commerce platform that provides customers with a digital, hassle-free online furniture shopping experience, has raised a six-figure seed investment.
Customers can access over 15,000 SKUs through Kemitt’s online portal, which offers on-demand manufacturing and 7-12 day delivery to their door.
Kemitt eliminates the need for buyers to visit showrooms and furniture stores.
By completely digitizing the shopping experience and using the most cutting-edge technology available, as well as providing all payment and financing options.
Kemitt is able to improve their variety by working with a network of manufacturers, allowing them to extend their scope across
Egypt while ensuring that the consumer receives the best price possible!
“We are very excited about the opportunity that this investment provides us; it will allow us to scale up our operations and enter new markets!” According to Mahmoud Fouad, co-founder and CEO of Kemitt. “To drive development, we invest in technology, and we’ve prioritized addressing logistical issues to ensure a smooth journey from the factory to the customer’s home. The digitization of the furniture industry in the area, we believe, is critical for the local economy. After all, our mission is to make Kemitt the first place you think of when you’re looking for furniture.”
The investment, which was made by a group of Saudi angel investors, will allow Kemitt to expand its team, operations, and technology, as well as enter new markets in the region, beginning with Saudi Arabia.
