In March 2021, Kia’s first dedicated electric vehicle will be unveiled.
Under the company’s Plan S, the vehicle, codenamed CV, will be the first model that aims to introduce 11 new electric vehicles by 2025.
It will feature a new language of design, a hi-tech and upscale cabin, and will deliver over 500 km of range.
The Kia CV will have a crossover design inspired by the concept car ‘Imagine by Kia’ shown during the Geneva Motor Show in 2019.
A sloping roofline, the brand’s signature ‘Tiger Nose’ grille, a new logo, a muscular bonnet, and sleek linked headlights will be on the Kia CV. It is flanked by ORVMs on the sidesand eye-catching alloy wheels.
The Kia CV is built on the Electric-Global Modular Platform of the Hyundai Group (E-GMP). It is likely that the car will be charged in under 20 minutes.
At the time of the unveiling in March, pricing and availability details of the Kia CV will be disclosed.
