Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos regained the title as the world’s richest person.

After Tesla CEO Elon Musk slipped from the top spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index list,

Bezos is now worth $190 billion, according to Forbes, compared with Musk’s $173 billion.

With $157.9 billion, French luxury brand owner Bernard Arnault is ranked third.

While $123.9 billion, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is ranked fourth.

Also,  Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook CEO, was fifth with just over $100 billion.

Because of COVID-19, Amazon sales have skyrocketed, as customers are increasingly focused on shopping online while remaining at home.

Net revenues soared 44 percent to $125.6 billion for the fourth quarter of 2020.

Since 2017, Bezos has become the richest man.

The personal wealth of Bezos which is largely in Amazon stock, has skyrocketed along with the share price of the company in recent years.
