Startupbootcamp AfriTech Accelerator, a program for entrepreneurs has issued a call for applications from Africa’s most innovative startups in fields like FinTech, InsureTech, AgriTech, eCommerce, HealthTech, and CleanTech.

Startupbootcamp AfriTech is collaborating with Telecel Group on the ASIP Accelerator Program, which is searching for the next wave of early-stage African tech entrepreneurs disrupting a variety of industries.

Ten entrepreneurs will be chosen to participate in the Program, which will provide them with access to expert-led masterclasses on covering topics from the business model canvas to lean methodology to fundraising.

They will also receive individually tailored mentoring from carefully chosen mentors, will also be linked with venture capitalists and angel investors from around the world, and have the opportunity to meet with leading corporations in their fields for pilot projects and collaboration opportunities.

The successful startups will earn €15k in cash and have access to over €500k in exclusive partner offers from companies including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, HubSpot, and SendGrid.

The three-month program will culminate in a digital Demo Day, where entrepreneurs will showcase their newly scaled-up solutions to hundreds of investors, corporates, mentors, and press.

Participants will also benefit from the Alumni Growth Program, which provides access to alumni-only activities, discounts, and personalized introductions long after the Program has ended.

The Pan-African Program, which is entirely virtual, will begin in July 2021.

Applications are now open until May 14th.
