The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP), which offers entrepreneurs US$5,000 in funding, coaching, and training, is now accepting applications.
Launched in 2010, the Tony Elumelu Foundation aims to support entrepreneurship growth in Africa to accelerate the continent’s economic transformation.
The Foundation has distributed USD$100 million in direct funding to 20,000 young African women and men since the TEF Entrepreneurship Program began in 2015, and it has reached over 1.5 million young Africans on its digital hub, TEFConnect. Together, these individuals have created 400,00 jobs and generated US$2.5 billion in revenue.
The Foundation supports African entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in 54 African nations through the TEF Flagship Entrepreneurial Program. All entrepreneurs who have been in business for 0–5 years are eligible to participate in the program.
The deadline for applications is March 1st.
