As the maiden edition of TechFest – an initiative of Diamond Band in collaboration with Interswitch, MTN, Microsoft, Visa, NIBSS, Deloitte and the beat FM kicks off today at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island. Here is a list of the top things you should know and anticipate during the 2 day Tech festival.
Keynote Address
The keynote address will be delivered by the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Bank, Uzoma Dozie and Partner CEOs like Chris Ubosi, Onyeka Akumah, Denis O’Brien, Jason Njoku and host of others. Here we look forward to insightful predictions and analysis on Tech Entrepreneurship in Nigeria. It will also be interesting to watch out for the announcement of Ada, Diamond Bank’s new Artificial Intelligence banking tool.
Investors’ Zone
This is a special feature of this year’s Tech Fest. A dedicated lounge has been set up for techpreneurs to connect and network with angel investors, partners and other collaborators. If you have an idea, please hop in here.
Battle of the Hubs
This is the peak of the 2 days event where pre-selected co-creation hubs will contest for prize money and technological services from the partners of the event. Five Hubs from across Nigeria will slug it out in the Batte of the Hubs. Sounds exciting, look forward to it.
Exhibitions
Watch out for amazing exhibitions from some of the biggest names in Nigeria’s tech space. Make sure you go around all the booths to get a true sense of the innovative ideas in Nigeria technology. We should catch you around here.
Fireside Chats
This is another session you cannot afford to miss. Here, entrepreneurs like; Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Jason Njoku, Uzoma Dozie, Deepankar-Rustagi, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, Oluwakemi Okunsanya, Lynda Saint Nwafor and lots of other top-notch entrepreneurs would be speaking on different topics that bothers tech and entrepreneurship.
