In an interview with Olugbenga GB Agboola, the CEO and Founder of Flutterwave, Wizkid, a Grammy-award-winning artist, discussed his new relationship with Flutterwave, Africa’s premier payments technology business.

Flutterwave, according to Wizkid, is a high-quality African startup that solves all of our day-to-day payment issues.

Wizkid teamed up with Flutterwave to introduce Send, a new way to send money to people all around the world. Send allows users to send money to and from 29 countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, the United States, South Africa, Kenya, the European Union, and others.

Wizkid and GB met in Los Angeles to talk about collaboration and what it means for both companies. “Before now, I was listening to your songs, and I just observed the growth is insane,” GB said in the interview when Wizkid questioned why Flutterwave chose him. I recognize myself in that ascension, in that evolution. How do we maintain innovating on the last thing we did and keep going in the same direction? That is Wizkid’s response.”

“Flutterwave is an African firm, a quality company that caters to everyday payments concerns that we encounter,” Wizkid remarked in response to GB’s question about why he opted to cooperate with Flutterwave. Every payment must be made from the comfort of one’s own home. Flutterwave is straightforward and easy for me, and I can send money anywhere.”

“We want to push Send by Flutterwave,” GB said while chatting with Wizkid about Send. We want everyone in Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and everywhere else in the world to be able to send money using our platform, making it simple for a small business in Africa to accept money and payments from anywhere.”

When GB asked Wizkid why he collaborated with Bieber on Essence, Wizkid answered, “We had a mutual acquaintance, and we sent the song to Bieber, and he sent it back fairly instantly.” We agreed to put it out once he sent it and I realized how fantastic it was.
