Sprints, an ed-tech startup based in Egypt that uses artificial intelligence and says it is “redefining education for the future,” has raised $3 million in bridge funding to help it grow.

The funding round was led by Disruptech Ventures, with investments from EdVentures and CFYE, among others, as part of its aim to educate one billion learners in ten years.

Sprints, the first end-to-end platform to close the tech talent gap, was co-founded in 2020 by Ayman Bazaraa and Bassam Sharkawy. It offers talent assessment, personalized learning paths, and a top-paying employment guarantee.

The startup offers top-notch, agile-based learning experiences that enable businesses to create elite tech teams in all domains, including cybersecurity, AI, data science, mobile, web, IoT, and cloud computing.

“Our team is the beating heart of this success. We’re a proud force of passionate trailblazers, consisting of over 100 employees and 300 trainers from 12 countries, united by a single mission, to revolutionize education through AI. This investment is a resounding validation of the team’s tireless efforts and unwavering dedication. Today, I stand proud of what we’ve collectively accomplished, and brimming with anticipation for the future we will pave together,” said Ayman Bazaraa, CEO of Sprints.

DisrupTech Ventures co-founder and chief investment officer Yehia Abouelwafa expressed his pride in Sprints for solving the growth conundrum with its comprehensive tech talent platform.

“We are firm believers in Sprints’ mission, and will continue leveraging our 70 years of combined know-how to unleash the potential of regional talent to develop the necessary caliber for digital economies,” Abouelwafa said.

Sprints has placed graduates in jobs with more than 300 tech companies worldwide and provided more than 2.5 million learning hours since its founding.
